Vivo’s V70 series appears to be moving toward launch with a split strategy for India and other regions. Fresh leaks suggest the company is preparing one set of models for India and a different mix for global markets, and the first hard data point for the international lineup is now on Geekbench.
A device believed to be the Vivo V70 FE has surfaced on the benchmark database with the model number V2550, and the listing points to MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 as the chipset. The same entry indicates 8GB of RAM and suggests the phone will ship with Android 16, which would put it on the newest Android version out of the gate rather than relying on a later update.

The Geekbench run also offers a glimpse at early graphics performance. The listing shows an OpenCL score of 2,507, a number that is most useful as a baseline for comparing the V70 FE against other midrange phones using similar class silicon, rather than as a predictor of real world gaming performance. Benchmarks can also vary depending on pre release software and thermal limits, so the final retail experience may differ.
Charging looks like the bigger headline for buyers who prioritize daily practicality. A separate TUV certification listing reportedly shows the Vivo V70 FE will support 90W fast charging, a spec that would be aggressive for this tier if it ships broadly outside China focused models from other brands. Vivo has not confirmed battery capacity, but high wattage charging usually pairs with mid to high capacity cells to keep charge times competitive.
The broader V70 lineup is also taking shape through rumors. India is expected to get two higher tier models, the Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite, while the V70 Lite and V70 FE are said to be reserved for regions outside India. That two track approach is increasingly common as brands tailor pricing, camera stacks, and connectivity bands for different markets rather than shipping a single global configuration.
On the India side, leaks point to the Vivo V70 Elite using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, while the standard Vivo V70 could run on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. If that split holds, Vivo would be positioning the Elite as the performance and premium option, with the regular V70 aimed at buyers who want flagship adjacent speed at a lower price. The Vivo V70 Lite remains unclear for now, suggesting it may be closer to launch or still in flux.
Pricing expectations in India place the higher tier models in the Rs 45,000 to Rs 55,000 range, which converts to roughly $500 to $610. That range is important context because it frames how Vivo may price and position the global V70 FE. In many regions, the FE nameplate tends to signal a more affordable entry point into a family, likely landing below the V70 and Elite models while keeping headline features like fast charging and newer software.
We see the V70 FE leak as a sign that Vivo is prioritizing broad market value over single spec dominance. A Dimensity 7300 plus 90W charging and Android 16 would be a straightforward package for buyers who want reliable performance, fast top ups, and a modern software baseline. The key questions for global shoppers will be camera hardware, update policy, and real world thermals, because those are the areas where midrange phones often separate into winners and compromises once they ship.
