boAt Nirvana Luxe Speaker Brings 100W Power & LDAC Support

boAt has unveiled the Nirvana Luxe Bluetooth speaker targeting home users who prioritize loud, bass-heavy sound for parties and gatherings. The company officially launched this model with details surfaced via its product announcement.

Compared to boAt’s earlier offerings and competitors like JBL PartyBox or Sony’s X-Series, the Nirvana Luxe stands out by combining a 100-watt output with LDAC support—a feature usually found in higher-end wireless speakers. This positions the speaker as a serious contender for audiophiles wanting wireless convenience and quality audio fidelity.

The speaker generates its 100W output through a setup that includes two 1.25-inch tweeters managing the high frequencies and two 3-inch subwoofers handling bass. Importantly, it offers 360-degree Spatial Audio, which disperses sound evenly around the room, avoiding directional sound limitations. For scaling sound in wider spaces, the broadcast mode enables multiple Nirvana Luxe units to connect wirelessly and play synchronously, amplifying the audio experience.

Nirvana Luxe supports LDAC for high-resolution Bluetooth streaming from compatible devices, which is a notable upgrade over standard SBC codec speakers. Connectivity is versatile, encompassing Bluetooth version 5.3 with an effective range of up to 10 meters, AUX input, USB Type-C port, and NFC for one-tap pairing on supported Android smartphones. Additionally, a built-in microphone permits hands-free calls directly through the speaker, integrating communication usability with entertainment.

Dynamic LED lighting is incorporated with three modes that pulse in sync with music playback, adding a customizable visual element through the companion boAt Hearables app which adjusts sound profiles and lighting effects.

Durability-wise, the speaker carries an IPX6 rating, offering splash resistance suitable for use near water features or outdoor environments where exposure to moisture is likely. Battery endurance is rated up to 15 hours on a single charge, though actual time depends on playback volume and LED lighting use.

boAt is pricing the Nirvana Luxe at Rs. 9,999, roughly $120 USD, aiming to deliver substantial audio power and features at a competitive price. It will be available in Ivory White and Charcoal Black colors through boAt’s official website and Amazon India, starting immediately.

For US buyers, this pricing and feature set place the Nirvana Luxe in competition with mid-tier party speakers, challenging offerings from JBL and Sony by emphasizing codec support and app customization features often missing in similarly priced products.
